Applicants can be any age (minors shall be accompanied by adults) and should have ancestral roots in Guangdong Province. Applicants need not be able to speak or read Chinese, and can be of any racial and ethnic background or mixture, as long as they have some roots in Guangdong. Limited need-based financial aid is available.
